Annual Community Beach Trip

Community Beach Trips is a family event for community members to come together and participate in fun beach activities e.g. Beach volleyballs, popular beach game called “CORO” (Mweso) among others. It is also an inter generational event where elders engage with the young and impart knowledge in a non formal session. For this event, there is a shared hired bus. Also every household prepares a meal to share which promotes solidarity and community cohesion.
